Designing the Future of Green Care: A Creative workshop guided by a Map of a future of the Netherlands

Dutch Research Institute for Transitions invited me to create a map for a creative workshop about the future of green care in the Netherlands in 2120, during het Groene Zorg Festival van Groene Zorg Alliantie. Such a fun assignment!

Together we explored how (green) healthcare in the Netherlands might look in the future, developed scenarios and ideas, and went from concept to sketch to printed poster to workshop.

It was a new kind of project for me, since I had never designed an illustration specifically for a workshop before. I enjoyed finding the balance between providing enough context and leaving space for the participants to freely create their collages. The workshop was a success and in the end, the map was filled with diverse ideas on how things could be done differently.
